ALAINY + COLE

GREYSOLON BALLROOM

DULUTH, MN

I remember vividly the very first time I met Alainy. She was working at a 4th of July festival serving up shaved ice as Snowie and was SO FUN! She’s one-of-a-kind and has an unforgettable personalty. Fast forward a year or so and we bumped into her an Cole at a Wedding Show. We hit it off immediately and talked about what flavors of shaved ice are the best and of course important things like wedding details! We were thrilled to get to celebrate with these two and be apart of their day.

From a surprise videographer to a romantic first dance to a choreographed groomsmen dance-routine, it was honestly one amazing moment after another.  You two shine. Congratulations friends!!

From the Bride:  In high school I laid eyes on this man, at the time it was a harmless crush. Years passed and we hung out for the first time, I was beyond nervous and really didn’t know what to expect. Thanks to my MOH Kae and his best man Niko things went pretty smoothly. After that weekend we hung out every day for a week, then Cole asked me to be his girlfriend, that moment I was so incredibly happy. We have had so much fun together, great times and… not so great. But we got through the hard times and came out stronger than ever. I have never loved someone the way I love Cole, and I thank God for bringing us together. Three years went by and what I thought was going to be a friendly breakfast with our parents turned into the most romantic proposal with friends and family there to celebrate. When Cole got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I was at a loss of word. I had never felt that feeling before in my life, I was weak at the knees and could not contain my emotions but somehow I was able to blurt out yes! I was going through nursing school as I was trying to plan the wedding and thankfully I had the help of my parents, Cole, mother and father in-law and best friends and staff at Greysolon ballroom- it could not have been done without them.

One year 5 months and 7 days passed, it was our wedding day.

After getting hair and makeup done we went to the Greysolon to get ready, after getting into my dress I couldn’t stop smiling, today was the day and it was all becoming so real. It was a very happy and emotional day for all of us, especially for my dad (I’ll always be your little girl). It was time to say I do- the church doors opened, my dad and I were holding onto each other so incredibly tight. Walking down the aisle seeing all of the people we love fill the pews and my handsome husband at the front of the alter with the biggest smile on his face was truly amazing…in that very moment the world stood still ❤️ my heart had never been so full. From morning until that night ended I don’t think I ever stopped smiling.
